Resource-saving protective elements made from recycled plastics.
Topics such as environmental and climate protection are becoming increasingly important for companies. We also contribute to resource conservation – by recycling. In the PÖPPELMANN blue® initiative, we therefore produce our plastic protective elements from recycled materials. These can be obtained from items such as used protective elements. The first projects are already underway: in future, our long-standing customer GRIMME Landmaschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG will collect caps used for protecting hydraulic lines against contamination and return them to Pöppelmann KAPSTO®. This is how we close the raw material loop.

Plastic is a valuable raw material. The industrial sector uses many plastic items which are only intended for short-term, single-use. Pöppelmann KAPSTO® uses recycled plastic materials recovered from such items to produce new KAPSTO® protective elements. With this process, we can turn a KAPSTO® item back into a new protective element. This closes the raw material loop and thus saves finite fossil resources.
